Analysis
extraction of the extinction coefficient k by inverting the single scattering albedo assuming the refractive index n of Khare et al. (1984) and the mean measured grain diameter: 420nm. The optical constants of Khare et al. (1984) allow to model quite well the visible slope and the NIR photometric level of the 95%-N2:5%-CH4:500ppm-CO tholins, but not the weak NIR bands so the use of the refractive index n from Khare et al. is justified.
