- The pellet was prepared by pressing (7 tons for 5 min) about 130 mg of the powdered material (grain size 1–50 µm) on top of a powdered polyethylene glycol (PEG) substrate pellet. The PEG is used as a substrate to avoid pellet break. Thickness of the meteorite pellet is large enough (>500 µm) to avoid contribution of PEG to the spectra.
