- Comments
- In the reduced data set, absolute uncertainty on the calibrated reflectance factor is ±0.1, and the spatial variability of the reflectance across the field of view is of the order of 10%. Thus, the SCITEAS imaging system does not provide a very accurate measurement of the absolute reflectance, but it provides a spectrum resolved in wavelength from 0.4 to 2.4 μm.

Definition: incidence and emergence angles are positive with origin at nadir, and vary in same direction. Azimuth origin (increasing clockwise) is for i = e (opposition geometry).
- Observation geometry
- biconical
- Observation mode
- fixed angles
- Emergence angle
- 13.0°
- Azimuth angle
- 0.0°
- Comments
- The light beam emitted from the extremity of the fibre bundle positionned about 300 mm above the sample surface has a divergence half-angle of 12.7°. The light source incidence and azimuth angles are slightly variable from pixel to pixel.
- Observation mode
- roi averaged
- Comments
- Note to the provider: Complete the "image" observation_mode when fully implemented in SSHADE. Because SCITEAS data are hyperspectral images.
- Name
- Sublimation mantle of Smectite on Water ice and Smectite intra-mixture particles 67±31 μm
- Changes
- After 1.18h of sublimation, a desiccated layer made of pure smectite, about 0.32±0.02 mm thick, covers the ice particles.
